ELWD presents DANDELION, a new album made during lockdown, a period shaped by a new perspective, one which granted ELWD an unprecedented appreciation for his immediate environment, as well as the natural world.
In his own words, "DANDELION is an album about taking everything in, the small simple stuff in life, not taking things for granted." It’s a piece of work that epitomises the notion that something substantial can grow out of nothing, with time and perseverance.
Over the course of the Summer months, ELWD built a garden, growing plants and fruit from seed. In the process he developed a new relationship with time; acknowledging the necessity of living in the moment but recognising how the past can impact the future.
Drawing inspirations from hip hop, jazz, ambient & electronic music, ELWD’s output weaves effortlessly. Laying down experimental soundscapes and drifting fluently, across numerous tracks and different moods.
A listening experience best appreciated from start to finish.
