'Stuck Off The Realness' first appeared on a highly sought after test pressing 12" in 1997 (the same one as 'Status'), on the flip we've put the super dope 'Burn' with that distinctive Biggie vocal sample... both sides epitomise that classic 90s NYC indie sound.

Mikey D - D.J. Trouble Lee - Dramacide CD is a collection of songs recorded and produced by Calvin (Trouble) Jones during the 90’s. “Shame“, “Dramacide” and “J.Q.N.Y.” feature Mikey D like you’ve never heard him before as he reflects on the social issues of the times. Then, in other songs he’s in battle mode. Upset with the state of hip hop at the time with songs like “Revenge”, “Killers On Wax”, and ‘Raw to the Core”. In the songs “Hot Outside” and “Think of You” you will understand why he was also known as Playboy Mikey D. This was a true Brooklyn & Queens connection with DJ Trouble Lee Production and Mikey D Vocals ripping the tracks that even after 20 years the friendship has kept them in touch. So when Trouble reached out to Mikey about finding the tapes and hearing them for the first time. Mikey had the idea for the song ”Back to the Future “ where his 1st verse is of Mikey D today and the 2nd verse is him 20 years younger. This is something that has never been done in Hip Hop before.

The Good People - The Summer EP (2019)

The Good People are exactly that, good folks that have maintained a strong presence in Hip-Hop since the mid-naughts. Consisting of MC/DJ Emskee and MC/producer Saint, these two heads eschew the violence and misogyny of hardcore Hip-Hop but still give fans that energy and sound of classic 90s Boom Bap. While some may even group them under the conscious Hip-Hop banner, their intent is to just make the kind of music that listeners can’t help but nod their heads to. The type of tunes that send b-boys into the circle without a second thought.
While this true school twosome dropped a number of well-received projects (group and solo) between 2004-2013, it wasn’t until earlier this year that they released their third official group album, "Good For Nuthin". The effort showed they hadn’t lost a step. In fact, it is the very definition of essential, "no frills" Hip-Hop. The LP features some of the genre’s most enduring pioneers and vets, including DJ Red Alert, Large Professor, Sadat X, Lil Fame, the Cella Dwellas and more.
Now, only a little more than four months later they are back with an offering perfect for the upcoming dog days, which is appropriately titled The Summer EP. The 6-track affair carries on tradition without sounding retro. It starts with the genuine LA vibes of "Windows Down" featuring Tash of Tha Alkaholiks, which is followed up by a braggadocios posse cut with A-F-R-O and Termanology titled "Sidewalk Barbecue." Quintessential East Coast horns and thumping drums dominate the remainder of songs, including the laid back lead single, "A Summer Night At The Symphony." The joint starts with the same narrated intro as The Juice Crew's "The Symphony," and features noted spitter John Jigg$ and his team, MXNXPXLY Family, getting busy on the mic.
Suffice it to say, this extended player will be getting enough spins in convertible rides, at BBQs, and on late night radio shows that still play the real. Push play and experience that feeling of a cold drink on a sweltering day.

With the 2014 release "Penthouse", Wun Two has made himself immortal in the worldwide lofi scene. He has continued to consolidate his status with his subsequent projects, but now the next big album is on the agenda. "Pirata" is a concept album and tells the story of a pirate who lived long ago. Emotional melodies and reduced drums drill directly into the listener's ear and make him want this instrumental masterpiece.
With "Pirata", Wun Two has created his very own magnum opus with a wonderful hand drawn artwork. The sailor's yarn spins from song to song over the whole album, until the pirate finally sails home after a successful treasure hunt. These little lofi masterpieces are structured by a total of four spoken chapters, spoken by Ugly God, telling the story of the pirate's journey.

Some things change throughout each season, others only bow to the hands of time. Dreams however are unique in this aspect, formulating in a few seconds what can feel like a lifetime. From the shores of two individual countries in Europe, each entrenched in their own cultures, history & ideals, a pair of beatmakers in their own right were put in touch by a mutual friend during the first touch of spring. As many slept, in their own singular cities, Moose Dawa & Psalm Trees passed notes to each other through the form of digital waves translating into sound.
What once was engraved in the grooves of dusty vinyl records was now being transmitted through the air, bouncing off the satellites hanging in space and back down to their singular locations. It was only after a few months that the pair had something to show for these long nights focused on translating their love of jazz into an album of their own. During the height of summer, Psalm Trees traveled to Moose Dawas' home town of Malmö, where work continued on the fruits of their labour; Digging deep into the record stores of both Denmark and Sweden itself., sampling both the rarities these two regions had to offer and also the wide variety of falafel spots which seemed to appear on every street they turned. The journey concluded in the port city of Rotterdam where the pair put the final touches to this release, getting it ready for it flow freely into the listeners ear.
Dreams From The Shore is the result of what can be achieved together from different parts of the world, transversing the barriers of language and societies norms into sound, reminding us that no matter where we are, like the sea we are always in some sense connected.
